Sterilization Study Says Caesarean Birth Not Justified
Atlantic City reports Drs Hugh B. McNally and Vincent de P. Fitzpatrick of the University of Maryland presented a study to the American Medical Association. Analyzed 130 women with three or more prior Caesarean deliveries and 44 with earlier normal births, finding sterilization after multiple C sections not a justified indication. They noted most women can safely bear additional children if no defective scar is present.
