Truck driver killed on I 70 near Frederick Maryland
A Baltimore tractor trailer driver, Roy Grant of Ohio, died after colliding with a 1997 Freightliner driven by Bradshaw Sr. on I 70 near the Frederick Frederick County line late Tuesday. Grant was treated and released. Bradshaw was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by Maryland State Police.

A 38 year old Frederik man was arrested after a Uni Mart clerk identified Sidney Anthony Addison as the robber who threatened the clerk with a knife. The weapon was recovered and Addison was charged with attempted robbery less than $300 first and second degree assault attempted theft less than $300 carrying a concealed weapon and reckless endangerment. He was jailed awaiting a bail hearing.

Motorcyclist and wife uninjured after crossover mishap

Collision injures several at Gold Mine Mount Philip intersection
A van and car collision at Gold Mine and Mount Philip roads left multiple people injured Tuesday afternoon. Scott Free, 19, of Frederick drove north in a Chevrolet Cavalier while Jennifer Lindstrom 21 of Middletown attempted a left turn and accelerated. The Cavalier rear ended the van and caught fire. occupants including Free's family and Lindstrom's party were taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Deputy William Folden said Free was charged with speeding and failing to reduce speed, Lindstrom with failing to yield the right of way.
