Dr. Forbes Hathaway Burgess, deputy state and county health officer for Frederick County from 1951 to 1967, died Thursday in Frederick Memorial Hospital at age 59. He was born February 10, 1913 in Washington DC, son of Ralph Edwin Burgess and Eveline Ellsworth Newcomb Burgess, and lived at RID 5 Frederick.
