Chamber of Commerce Drives Inclusion Debate Meeting
Fredericksburg residents gathered for the reorganization of the Board of Trade into a Chamber of Commerce. D J Markey led a motion inviting women to participate as part of a nonpartisan, community-wide effort. The group discussed executive committee elections by secret ballot, broader programs, and planning for a united campaign with leaders from the City Bureau directing activities.
