Discontinue Replacement Schedule Rules For Local Draft Boards
The Selective Service will end the replacement schedule at normal expiration with possible excemptions for federal establishments. State headquarters informed local boards that 18 to 25 year olds face service unless deferments apply while 26 to 29 can be 2 A or 2 B if tied to war production. 30 to 37 and those disqualified remain civilian until forces demand shift. Employers must file deferment forms 42 A or 42 B and notify boards when a registrant ends employment.
