Building Fund Now 2762 for Woman's College
After a two year campaign the Woman's College directors announce completion of a $20,000 building fund nucleus toward a larger goal. A donor named Mrs. Margaret E. S. Hood contributed $10,000, prompting plans to raise $60,000 to $100,000 by 1913, with a new campus at the Frederick area. The college aims to break ground in 1913 for a permanent home as enrollment pressures grow. President Apple publicly expressed gratitude to all benefactors and noted further fundraising to match gifts.
