The Spirit and the Church’s Guide in Faith

The speaker likens the Trinity to official roles with the Father as head and the Son’s sacrifice, then the Holy Spirit who abides with the church until Christ returns. The Spirit convicts the world, quickens hearts to God’s truth, and enables understanding of Scripture when the mind is rightly prepared. Without the Spirit, people are unable to think or act rightly.
