Rehabilitation ordered for man who shot wife
Charles Thomas Tyergar a 41 year old East Third Street man was ordered to complete an extensive rehabilitation program including drug monitoring 2600 hours of community service and to begin paying his estranged wife Denise Tyergar’s medical bills totaling about 40000 toward a 10 year plan. He was given maximum 10 year sentence with most suspended and five years of intensively monitored probation plus ten years of court supervision.

Frederick man cleared of disturbing the peace in court
In Frederick County district court Judge Herbert Rollios found 54 year old Henry F. Brown innocent of disturbing the peace and littering charges from May 18 after witnesses described arm waving and joking gestures. Other cases heard included Ralph W. Haines receiving six months probation for theft and Joyce Leeks acquitted in a parent child dispute.
