Residents seek way to dim I-70 ramp lights

Police ready for Craft Fair traffic

Tens of thousands expected for the Frederick Crafts Fair as city and state police coordinate traffic control. Free measles vaccinations set Friday

A measles case identified at Thomas Johnson high school prompts a county health notice. The Frederick County Health Department urges parents to check immunizations for juniors and seniors and to vaccinate children who have not had measles or received vaccines. Jefferson Bicentennial service planned Sunday

Jefferson plans a June 6 bicentennial observance with a 7 pm vesper service as the town is designated a Bicentennial community. The event features joint church choirs led by Mrs Charles Remsberg, a special program by youth groups, and a ceremony with more than 50 children from Box and Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cubs, and 4 H clubs. Visitors will hear Tomm Grunwell speak on What I Think About America Today. Guests are invited to wear Bicentennial clothes and refreshments will follow.

FHS Students to be Moved During 1977 Renovation Plan

Frederick High School students will relocate to West Frederick Junior High and Elm Street Elementary during the renovation of FHS starting in 1977. Explosion damages seven buildings in Damascus area
