Frederick High School marks its first senior class under a two year system with 11 o'clock Sunday morning bac calaureate services in the auditorium. Rev. W. M. Weaver will preach on We Do Not Walk Alone from the Book of John as the mixed chorus and orchestra perform under H. B Coran and Sperry L. Storm. The ceremony opens graduation week with public access and new window draperies.

Three Soldiers Injured In Rt 340 Crash Near Route 17
Three soldiers, two from Camp Detrick, were injured when their 1947 Chevrolet sidewiped a loaded tractor trailer on Route 340 near Route 17. Raymon A. Police say the car ran off the road, overturned, and damaged the fence. charges pending after investigation.

Critically Hurt In Crash Near Detrick Report

Ritenour of Route 1 Thurmont was in critical condition at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a motorcycle crash with two cars on West Seventh Street near Camp Detrick about 11 15 Friday night. Joseph R. Holcombe, treated for head and arm lacerations, was later moved to Walter Reed Hospital. The Ford driven by Pauline L. Reed stalled on the highway. Holcombe helped push to start it before collision.
