Peterson named to tax reform study group
Hood College president Shirley Peterson was named to the congressional Economic Growth and Tax Reform Commission led by Jack Kemp. The panel aims to overhaul the 9,000 page tax code and deliver recommendations later this year. Selections were made by Sen. Bob Dole and House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
