Council stalls zoning for Marriott HQ amid master plan
Montgomery County officials delayed a zoning change for a Germantown tract slated for Marriott headquarters as they await executive meetings with Marriott. The plan, part of the Germantown Master Plan, includes MXPD zoning for mixed use with strict limits on food service and free standing restaurants near Milestone Mall, and preserves a village-centered town core with cultural amenities and a six-village framework.
