Breads and cereals taught at MSD program
A four to 11 year old youth group and 20 staff at the Maryland School for the Deaf explored bread and cereal nutrition in a 4-H program “Grind Sift and Stir.” Four assemblies featured Susanne Blank and Elizabeth Page noodle making, Tina Zimmerman pretzels, Larry Stottlemyer pizza, and Judy Gaskin and Lois Bequette wheat grinding, producing mini loaves and tastings.
