Frederick County library expands access and local updates
The Frederick County library reports new free library cards available at the Burr Artz facility. Director Martha Reynolds invites residents to visit, donate books, and participate. Amid funding woes the Thursday closure persists, while local bookstores donate titles valued around 215 dollars to support literacy efforts. Community events include a Babe Ruth World Series Parade float drive and a YMCA self defense course praised by Jefferson volunteers.
