Merlands Country Club Closed by Court Order
The Merlands Country Club at 1300 Georgia Ave Wheaton Maryland was closed by court order forcing about 100 children and members at a day camp to vacate the 25 acre site by 3 PM. Attachments directed turnover of the property and bank account to Victor R. Messall and another man. The action originated in Caroline County and followed a long dispute between club members and owners.
