Frederick water consumption hit an all time daily high of 4 161 000 gallons on Friday said Water Superintendent William J. Davis. About 2 211 000 gallons came from mountain sources and 1 490 000 from the Singapore filtration plant with at least a million gallons used for lawn sprinklers between 5 and 10 p m. No curbs were in place despite a July dry spell as showers failed to boost supplies. Temperatures near 90 today and tomorrow with a 66 degree low last night.
