Fire scene rescue ends with man hospitalized after collapse
Friday July 44 a man collapsed at the Seip residence after stove is left burning. Police and rescue units respond, including Carl Kentzell and Rentzell, with United and Citizens teams aiding revival efforts. The victim Fred Sheip was hospitalized after regaining breathing. Family says he planned to visit his father’s hobby shop before returning home.

A housewife, neighbor, policemen, and two fire companies aided by the victim Frederick W Sheip Jr a 24 year old hardware salesman saved him from gas asphyxiation early Thursday night at his home. He was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital where doctors reported his condition satisfactory and likely to recover. The wife Evelyn Schade Sheip with her parents had gone to fetch him after prearranging the plan and neighbors aided by Mr Staley helped at the scene.
