Two auto crashes leave two in Maryland hospital

Betty J. Weishaar 32 of New Windsor remains in critical condition after a Md 75 crash near Coppermine Road on July 27. Mark Wayne Rinehart 23 of Arlington Va in satisfactory condition after a Md 478 crash near Brunswick on July 18. Police report Weishaar’s car swerved off the road struck posts and a pole then overturned. Rinehart’s car veered off the road and struck a bridge abutment before splitting. Rover’s Restaurant to operate as proprietorship replacing stockholding corporation amid dissolution notice. A tornado described as large may span miles with winds up to 300 mph.

Man pleads guilty on pot charge in Frederick County

Roger L. Locke of East Church Street pleaded guilty in circuit court to conspiracy to distribute and distribution of marijuana. The case stems from an undercover operation and subsequent arrests by city and state police linked to illicit drug traffic in Frederick City. Locke was remanded to the Frederick County Jail pending a presentence report. he was represented by Thomas C. Nikirk. Van Winkle’s related circuit court matter is set for August 3.
