Grange Holds All Day Meeting and Resolves
Pomona Grange met at Walkersville Community Hall with Glade Valley hosting. Thirteen resolutions were offered discussed and adopted by thirteen attendees from twelve granges. Reports praised police service and urged support for a postal rate increase act while opposing a minimum wage rise. The body endorsed farmland purchase by the State Roads Commission and supported road safety measures and youth education efforts.
