Reassessment Must Proceed in Frederick Braddock Districts
The State Tax Commission told Frederick County officials that reassessment of real and personal property in Frederick and Braddock districts must proceed this year as scheduled. The commission has no authority to delay assessments required by law, despite local doubts about completing York and Braddock areas in time. Supervisor Lamar Barrick will continue work in Frederick, but Braddock reassessments may fall behind. a temporary aide was suggested to speed progress.
