Linganore election pits residents against developer control
Linganore residents face a heated board election with 22 candidates amid lawsuits and disputes over $750000 in annual dues. Developer Singapore Development Group and Ellis are accused of influence, while two Brosius brothers align with Ellis. A 1938 agreement raising voting rights questions further complicates results as 441 Ellis lots may be barred from voting. Ballots and eligibility could delay final results awaiting judge review.
