Emmitsburg planning clash over new Krystal dealership
Krystal Cadillac owner Harry Pappas clashed with Richard Lindsay of the state highway administration at a planning and zoning meeting over traffic studies for a proposed Creamery Road and U.S. 15 entrance. Lindsay said his name appears on correspondences due to his role as assistant district engineer. Pappas argued the state should fund road improvements before the project proceeds. The same meeting approved several local variances and business signs for area firms, while residents raised concerns about late-night repairs.
