Downtown Frederick GFDC aims to spur private public partnership
The Downtown Frederick Development Council GFDC formed from a chamber committee aims to be a one stop shop for businesses locating in the 50 block downtown area including the historic district and Carroll Creek Linear Park. The group uses a 150000 annual budget funded by public and private sources and seeks 50000 to 60000 from private sponsors over three years while tackling parking and traffic congestion through public input and collaboration.
