A mail slot safe at the American Oil Company storage plant on Church Street was opened with nitro glyercine, yielding cash while leaving the letters and documents intact. Two men 20 to 25 years old were spotted nearby by A Axris of the Drew Levick Oil Company. a pant and undershirt were found in the yard next morning.
