Montgomery sanctuary sheltering abused animals with stories
The Poplar Sproger Sanctuary in Montgomery County on 400 acres near the Potomac River houses abused animals including POULESVILLE 4P and a five week old pig named Larry. Run by Teresa Caramangs and David Hoerauf, the sanctuary grew after the Washington Humane Society seized 171Page s from a truck bound for slaughter. Monthly sponsors donate 5 to 90 dollars to support individual animals as the facility expands to meet capacity.
