Derry Dies of Burns After Car Crash Near Buck Lodge
Herbert Lee Derry 62 of Buckeystown died at Frederick Memorial Hospital from burns suffered April 5 when his car overturned near Lee's Corner at Route 28 and Buck Lodge. Rescued by Ellis Sheckelford, Derry was treated with skin grafts and died Monday afternoon. Survived by family including his father Arthur L. Derry Urbana and several siblings and grandchildren. Funeral arrangements set for Thursday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. M R Etchison and Son in charge.

Survived by widow Mrs. Donald Scott Damascus, a sister and several brothers and half siblings. Funeral Friday at 11 oclock at East Patrick street funeral home with interment in Mount Olivet War Memorial Plot.
