Montgomery County Planning Board voted 3-0 to back Hardee's in Damascus for a 89 seat, 3,400 square foot restaurant on Md. 27 between Boyer and Cramer Hardware. The decision goes to the Board of Zoning Appeals within 30 days after the mailed recommendation. Bank President Walter Brown said easement issues aside, they will welcome the new neighbor if zoning is approved. Five board members were present, two absent.
