Wheat threshing returns at Thurmont Emmitsburg show
The Thurmont Grange and Emmitsburg Grange bring back old fashioned wheat threshing demonstrations for the 19th Thurmont Emmitsburg Community Show set for September 12 to 14 at Catoctin High School. Four acres were planted and harvested with antique equipment on Rodman Myers and Jim Moser farms, with volunteers nightly preparing refreshments for workers and spectators.
