Senate Grants Foreign Aid Bill Passage With Yugoslavia Prohibition
The Senate approved a 4.11 billion foreign aid measure, voting 60 to 0 on the ban preventing any new funds for Yugoslavia. The package funds military aid and various economic programs, with debate over Tito's regime and continued presidential discretion on aid policy. The House action and presidential views shape a compromise on the fiscal 1957 security program.

Four Sharks Caught In Chesapeake Bay Likely Strays
ANNAPOLIS July 24 A Department of Tidewater Fisheries expert said four sharks caught in Chesapeake Bay since last Monday are probably strays that wandered into the Upper Bay behind a school of fish. Edgar H. Hollis identified one 15 to 18 pound brown shark as a milbert Per k species not a man eater. Two fishermen found the shark in a stationary set and sold it to a wholesale fish establishment. Last week three sharks of about the same size were caught near Rock Hall at the mouth of the Chester River. Wilkes Hubbard reported them as likely milberts though he labeled them from a technical book as great white sharks, but Hollis doubted.
