James Jacoby wins grand slam in SABF bridge event
James Jacoby and Gaylor Kasle played in a SABF national pairs competition in Maseru Lesotho. South opened two hearts, Kasle's two spades and a bold three diamonds led to a six hearts bid, then a grand slam. South discarded a diamond as dummy’s spades were drawn and the queen of clubs blocked West. Jacoby and Oswald Jacoby’s books are now sold by Pharos Books 1990.
