Reptile Gardens Boss Runs Snakes for Tourists
Hal Boxle reports Boyle column from Rapid City about Earl Brockelsky and his Black Hills Reptile Gardens. The park draws 200000 yearly visitors, houses 1300 reptiles, and features seventeen rattlesnake varieties. He notes snakes fear people in certain seasons, uses hides for calm, and pays up to 3000 for dangerous specimens while training touring snake students.
