Teen saves two from tornado wreck in Westminster area
Four Seasons neighborhood near Westminster bore a half mile tornado path as 15 year old GAMBER rescued two children torn from their second story home. The two were in stable condition at Johns Hopkins as authorities assessed damage, displaced families, and habitable homes. Governor Glendening viewed the scene by helicopter.

Storms leave Carroll County homes damaged and power lines down
Powerful thunderstorms tore through Maryland on Friday afternoon injuring two toddlers as roofs blew off and second floors collapsed. In Four Seasons, Gamber, Carroll County, 66 homes were damaged, six destroyed and 27 uninhabitable. Two brothers, ages 2 years and 4 months, were blown from a second story but survived with minor injuries. Power outages affected 9,078 customers with most restored by nightfall. Authorities evacuated about 30 families to a Red Cross site as search efforts checked for trapped residents. no fatalities reported.
