Library worker crushed by firing sparks dispute at Frederick County Library

Clinton Defends Affirmative Action Programs in Memorandum

Grain drying silos clash with Rolling Green residents near Urbana

In Rolling Green near the Montgomery County line south of Urbana residents claim Roy Stanley's three grain drying silos blast debris and generate noise with trucks accessing the site. White House understated staff use of presidential helicopters

The General Accounting Office report shows White House staff used presidential helicopters fourteen times through May 24, 1994, two more than the Clinton administration admitted. The GAO notes the aircraft, normally for the president and guests, were used by aides and spouses in the Holly Hills wake. Rep. Roscoe Bartlett requested the inquiry for Congress.

Contaminants Found Beneath West Patrick Street During Work

A city state highway and utility replacement project uncovered contaminants on West Patrick Street. June 6 soil contamination and a later gasoline find near Patrick and Jefferson prompted safety checks. trench ventilation and respirator requirements paused work.
