Frederick Growth Leads Maryland Building Permits Rise
Frederick and two Western Maryland cities posted permit value gains in June compared with a year earlier, while statewide totals fell. Frederick rose from 2.3 million to 3.1 million. Hagerstown from 129,300 to 5.9 million. Cumberland from 115,700 to 357,000. Baltimore, Annapolis, Salisbury, and Rockville declined.
