Big Improvement Program Begins In Montgomery County
Rockville Md July 18 Work of one of the largest programs of public improvements in Montgomery county is under way with six projects totaling 779 822 25 under development. The State Roads Commission awarded a 92653 bid to extend the East West Highway from Silver Spring through Takoma Park to Philadelphia completing a modern route from Bethesda to Hyattsville. Builders proceed on Western and Eastern suburban school projects and a new Chevy Chase Elementary School building crediting Proctor.
