Southern States elects local board at 800-attendee meeting
J Daniel Geisinger and James C Montgomery won seats on the local advisory board at Southern States annual meeting held July 8 at Governor Thomas Johnson High School. Maryland juniors exhibit at 6th Eastern Regional Angus show
Seventeen Maryland Junior Angus breeders showed 20 Angus heifers at the 6th Eastern Regional Junior Angus Heifer Show on July 10 at Jacksons Mill West Virginia 4-H Camp. Oatland Farm’s Chandler Keys bred and owned Oatland ELBA 58 a January 1977 daughter of Black Revolution 1334 and his sister Chrissy presented the trophy while showing a second place heifer. Other Maryland exhibitors included Back Acres Angus Mt Belle and multiple farms in Woodsboro Olney Brookeville Derwood Glenwood Newbury and Olney.
