Weekend accidents injure two with $1050 damages
Frederick Barracks of the State Police report two weekend crashes. A 56 year old Sparks man suffered a sprained elbow and a Germantown man received facial injuries after a Ford struck a tractor trailer on US 40 near Duke's Drive In. In the second crash a Germantown laborer sleeping at the wheel veered off US 15 near Buckeystown, hitting a telephone pole and injuring himself. no charges were filed.

Injured Child Dies After Route 124 Crash
Terri Lee Schuessler, four, of Gaithersburg, Md., died Saturday at Washington Hospital Center from injuries after a car strike on Route 124. The girl darted into the highway while playing beside her mother and Mrs. Jerry Schuessier. Driver Daniel Lee Quesenberry, 23, of Woodbine, was charged with excessive speed.
