Frederick County HS starts behind the wheel driving course
Frederick County high school students began a six hour summer behind the wheel program with instructor in car and six hours observing another student. The course costs five dollars, may yield a driver's license at 16, and promises insurance savings. Local dealers loan three 1958 cars for training and state police provide a student card for driving without a learner's permit.
