Ashbury Controversy Sparks Reappointment Debate
Mrs. Ashbury, a former county teacher who retired in 1973, faced a factional split over her possible reappointment to the county school board. She said she is pleased to be reappointed and hopes to continue basics, discipline, and a unified county program.
