Burnap granted temporary release on alimony bond
George Burnap landscape artist was allowed to leave Washington on condition of depositing 3000 dollars with the court to cover any alimony orders. Deputy US Marshal John J. Diaksen seized him on a writ of no exent after his wife Jennette Gilinger Barnan accused desertion. Burnap and his wife, married in Paris on December 5, 1924, claim separate years. his wife is represented by Monas Wamplr and Punk. Barnum developed the Colisee Park project. County road bonds sold to Frank T. Boer & Co and The Baltimore Trust Co for 950,000 with a premium of 1,575.

Byrd Receives Gold Medal in Winchester Welcome
Commander Richard Evelyn Byrd, celebrated North Pole explorer, visited Winchester Virginia to receive a gold medal amid a warm hometown reception. He left Friday for Washington after being made an honorary member of the Winchester Rotary Club. Other honors went to his brother Governor H Byrd and Rear Admiral Louis M Nulton, with Rev Dr F T McFaden presenting.
