Three Killed and Injured by Automobiles in Philadelphia
Philadelphia reports indicate since July 1 three people have been killed and several seriously injured by cars in the city. The latest tragedy saw Mrs. Mary Donald, 70, of Girardville, run down and killed by a moving automobile. The driver at the time remains unnamed. Meanwhile, fifteen American students stranded in Antwerp allege fraud by an unauthorized Philadelphia employment agent. They had paid for engagements and return passage but the cattle shippers say the contracts are nonbinding and refuse responsibility. The students plan to prosecute the agent.
