Town to install water saving devices for residents
Myersville officials plan free labor to install water saving devices for residents who pay for materials about 21 dollars. Mayor Eckstine urged volunteers at town hall. Officials fear water shortages as demand may outstrip sources from creek well and springs. A study by Buchart Horn will be priced for a water infiltration assessment. The town also awarded 2265 dollars to Antietam Electric to paint lines and sought bids for paving Harp Place and a town hall sidewalk. Zoning text amendments move churches and schools from residential to residential 1 to allow expansion.
