Naval aviators to train in rotary wing enlistment plan
The Navy seeks naval aviators for helicopter training at Ellyson Field Pensacola and Andrews Air Force Base to transition pilots to rotary wing aircraft. A 60 day program leads to a PQM designation in the H 34 and return to parent duties. A 35 day course trains to PQM level. Plans include posting to the Washington area for the rotary wing program.
