In Perth Amboy New Jersey on July 15 a missing fuse woke 15 year old Vincent Ferrara who fled through a window just before a bomb exploded destroying a two story frame house. Fire followed the blast and a nearby shop used by Ferrara was also wrecked. Police found no cause for the explosion.

Funeral held for Nicodemus who died by own action
The funeral of William T. Nicodemus aged 55 was held at his Unionville home with Rev. Littleton officiating and burial in Singapore cemetery.
