Fantasticks at Weinberg Center Delights with Simple Charm
The Fantasticks at Weinberg Center directed by Don McBee impressed with unvarnished simplicity. Monty Kinbrough struggled with rhythm and voice in dual role yet delivered a lively performance while Dale Wyatt Paul Wright shared strong moments with the leads. David Cripe Kevin McCormack and Thm Zerkel provided standout ensemble work defining the fathers and Henry. Polly Spahr as the Mute offered restrained, effective presence as lighting and set framing offered visual challenges.
