Pint-Sized Riders Shine At New Market Horseshow
Frederick youths and parents joined 15 locals among 150 exhibitors at the Fourth Annual New Market Hounds Worse Show at the Frederick Pony Club Grounds in Ijamsville. Four-year-olds Lassie Johns and Gilmore Flautt IV rode in Lead Line, with Gilmore taking second on Leprechaun. Susan Brinkley led the win with her daughter, while Kevin Cahill won Large Pony Reserve with River Mist. A Sunday drawing donated pony was won by Dierdre Healy of Baltimore.
