Death by Own Hand Seen by Children at Cement Mill

Allentown Pennsylvania July 1. Charles Snyder a 40 year old contractor of Egypt hanged himself in a cement mill after fastening a rope to the shafting and leaping. Several children witnessed the preparations and called for help but he died before aid arrived. His brother Lewis F. Snyder of Siegried was murdered by an employee last winter.

Blind Man Killed in Fall at North Tenth Street
