Maryland to buy historic Woodmont Rod and Gun Club for 3M
Maryland plans to purchase Woodmont Rod and Gun Club for 3.09 million from the Conservation Fund, finalizing this fall. The 3420 acre western Maryland preserve near Sideling Hill will become public land offering hunting, hiking and environmental education, with access via nearby trails and state parks.
