Land condemnation case argues over land for highway curve
A sheriff's jury awarded Joshua Eli B Zimmerman 2500 for 1.45 acre south tract and 150 for 0.7 acre north tract after the State Roads Commission sought to widen a highway near Jefferson. Rockville Pike to Be Widened Ten Thirty Feet
The Maryland State Roads Commission announced a widening of Rockville Pike by 30 feet between Bethesda and Rockville at an estimated cost of 175600 dollars. Ocean City Md July 10 AP One person was killed and two injured in a collision on the Berlin Ocean City boulevard west of here. Wel don M Venable 19 of Berlin died of a fractured skull at a doctor's office. The injured were Golis Whitman 2 and Pranklin Hastings 27 both of New Ark MI in Hastings car. Hastings is being sought by Shecut Women S Pacnell Worcester county pending an inquest today. Nine people have died in auto movie accidents on the boulevard between Berlin and Ocean City since January 1.
