A large crowd witnessed 5 000 Marines pass in review before dignitaries as marchers and onlookers filled the city streets. The event underscored military pageantry and civic pride in a significant public observance.
The Associated Press reports unsettled weather for the week starting Monday across the North and Middle Atlantic states. Expect considerable cloudiness with local rains at the beginning of the week and again Friday or Saturday, with normal temperatures overall.

Frederick Cotillion Club hosts a dance at Braddock Heights Dancing Pavilion starting 9 pm to honor Marine officers including General Smedley D. Butler and staff. Gov Ritchie, Mayor Culler, and board members invited. Special car leaves at 4:45 pm. Committee chaired by T B Hayward with several patronesses named.

West Palm Beach Fla The will of the late Richard Croker former Tammany leader who died recently in Ireland was filed here and leaves all of his property to his wife except ten thousand dollars to his daughter Florence the only child who retained affection for him. The will was drawn in Ireland in 1919.
Lurlene Lenglen of France defeats Mrs. Mallory in straight sets 6-2 6-0 to defend her world women’s tennis championship at the international grass court tournament in Wimbledon. American champion Molla Mallory finishes runner up.
